03) MESH MASHUP: SELECTION AND REFINEMENT

이미지
This week's task was to select one of the ten objects made using TinkerCad last week and  develop it further using the MashMath program. Considering the feedback I received from my peers during last week's speed dating session, the  better object to develop was Shackles. Shackles is the object that my team members, including myself, liked the most.  This is because I wanted to develop it further by accepting the opinion that the chain made of  smartphones would be more impactful in the shape of locking up the ankle more effectively. Looking at the picture, the smartphone chain seems to be holding a person's ankle, but the  person involved in the ankle seems to be able to escape the smartphone chain. My peers who had a meeting with me pointed out this point, and I also wanted to change this  part. Therefore, I thought that if I put a person's hand on a smartphone chain and express as  that hand grabbing of ankles, it would be able to make up for ...

02) MESH MASHUP:CONCEPTGENERATION

MESH MASHUP:CONCEPTGENERATION Remix culture is a term that describes a society in which existing materials are edited or  combined to derive new creations or works. We often encounter many media in our lives and  sometimes feel obvious because we are exposed to something a lot. I think remix culture is a  good social phenomenon that breaks down such boredom. The act of combining existing  materials to create creations may give laughter, but it also helps to solve social problems easily.  Based on my thoughts, I created ten 3d objects using Thingiverse and Tinkercad with the  impressions and thoughts I felt recently. 1. the excretion of anxiety   Recently, I solved the problems that bothered me. Those worries have worsened my health by  staying inside me for quite a while. However, when the worries were solved, I felt surprisingly cool as if the fire had disappeared from the inside. In that way, I e...

01) OBJECTIFIED:RESPONSE - Sewing machine

OBJECTIFIED: RESPONSE - Sewing machine    Watching interviews with many designers on  the OBJECTIFIED , I felt that good design eventually comes from in-depth observations of 'people'.    In the film, great designs are everyday things (OBJECTIFIED 10:13) and get better with use. When I heard this, I remembered an object I had read in a book before: the sewing machine of Kenneth Grange.   Before Kenneth Grange's sewing machine, most sewing machines had all corners angled and the needle's position was always centred. However, this past form of sewing machines had a lack of material to place on the sewing machine, as the angular edges of the sewing machine pressed painfully against the body part that touched the sewing machine, and the needle's position was centred.   Uncomfortable with these sewing machines, Kenneth Grange rounded out the corners that touched the body and moved the needle outwards.       This sewing machine of Kenneth Gran...
