09) PAPER CRAFT OBJECTS:FINAL REVISION

이미지
This week is the week when the Paper Craft Object project ends.  I made a more advanced version of the paper stalactites based on the prototype I made the week before last. The prototype version of the paper stalactite doesn't seem like in a cave, so I designed the final version of the paper stalactite by changing the organic lines into a deeper, pointed curve.  And I made two drops of water to make it seem like water is falling from the stalactite. - the process of making paper stalactites - Completed paper stalactites - Paper stalactites according to various lights - Prototype vs final Unlike the version made in rhino, it is regrettable that the paper stalactites have become a little longer overall. I think it would be much better if I revised that part. It was a good idea to choose pastel-toned paper centered on purple to give a mysterious feeling. Paper stalactites look more three-dimensional because of the increasingly darker colour of the paper outside.   Next time,...

08) PAPER CRAFTS OBJECTS:FIRST PROTOTYPE

This week's assignment was to make the 3D objects we made into real paper. Looking back at my paper craft objects that I've made so far, I decided to redesign them from the beginning because they felt simple and lack depth. Inspired by the documentary I saw not long ago, I decided to make  stalactite  into paper myself. -  3D sketching of a stalactite - Paper stalactite plane - the process of making paper stalactites - Paper stalactites in the finished prototypes When I started again from the first step for a week, there was a little bit of a lack of my stalactites design. In the final stage, it seems that it needs to be supplemented by increasing the length of the  stalactites  a little longer and putting LED lights on the inside. Thank you!

07) PAPER CRAFTS OBJECTS:PRINTED TEMPLATES

This week's assignment was to create a 3d drawing with Rhino and then print it out to create a paper craft object.  I made a drawing using offset, trim, make2d and hidden line tools etc. that I learned in class last week. I tried to make a pencil case by referring to the drawing I made last week, but the printer at home couldn't print a big image, so I had no choice but to print it small. So the paper object made became too small than I thought. Next time, I should go to a place where I can print a big image. - The pencil holder I decided to make.  - My pencil holder drawing  - Printed pencil holder drawing - The completed pencil holder..  Haha,, it was so small that it was hard to assemble, so the final shape is messed up... Anyway, Thank you for visit my blog!
